Responsibilities
- To assist the Assistant Broking Manager in domestic and international Insurance/Reinsurance business proposals/renewals.
- To liaise with clients and insurance companies and maintain ongoing good relationship.
- Pre / post renewal preparation including risk analysis, assist in preparing renewal / tender slides, renewal information pack.
- To ensure prompt collection of premium/brokerage.
- To ensure proper maintenance and submission of documentation to relevant parties.
- To manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications.
- Keep up with changes in the insurance market and in our client's industries.
- To ensure compliance with SOP requirement, company policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Studies or possess Professional Insurance Qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in broking/underwriting or relevant working experience in insurance and reinsurance industry.
- Have general understanding of insurance/reinsurance business.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good communication, negotiation interpersonal skills.
- IT Savvy and good in MICROSOFT OFFICE
- Ability to work in fast paced environment, perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Independent, results-oriented and strong team player.
