Responsibilities
- Risk survey for Offshore and Power Plants.
- Undertake detailed risk surveys of the property/site to be insured and producing detailed reports.
- Responsible to collate information required by Underwriters engineers following surveys or prior to surveys.
- Monitoring claims trending of clients’ accounts and give recommendations to circumvent the issues.
- Responsible to demonstrate an engineering capability to clients and show the value that it can add identifying market opportunities, preparation of proposals.
- Keeping up to date with technical aspects affecting risks, e.g. trade processes, legislation, hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Petroleum or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and good practice in insurance risk control.
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken) and ability to work independently while liaising across Business Units and able to explain complex ideas to people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Good leadership skill and self-motivated with pro-active attitude.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
- IT Savvy and good in MICROSOFT OFFICE & Presentation.
